Norway's graduates seek security

Financial services remains a popular career choice for graduates in Norway, but they seem to be seeking the relative security of large accounting firms and the bigger domestic players.
Research firm Universum takes in responses from over 11,000 final and penultimate year students on the top 100 most attractive firms to work for and in Norway a large proporation of the firms making up the ranks are within financial services.
However, the Big Four accounting firms, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers, all made it into the top 20, suggesting the security offered by a professional qualification is valued in turbulent times.
Similarly, Norges Bank and DnB NOR, two of the biggest domestic institutions, also both feature in the top 10.
